Julie Newmar

In 1993, Julie Newmar was born in Los Angeles. Her most memorable performance was as Katrin Sveg in The Marriage Go Round on Broadway, for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress. After that achievement, Newmar was cast as Catwoman in the 1960s television series Batman, a superhero classic. As her profession changed in the 1970s, Newmar concentrated on other enterprises and was awarded two patents, specifically for Pantyhouse and a braiser.

Erin Moran

Erin Moran, well known for playing Joanie Cunningham on the television program Happy Days, later starred in the sequel, Joanie Loves Chachi. Moran, though, did not take on many parts after that gig and largely avoided the spotlight. 

Moran participated in Celebrity Fit Club in 2008, however, she hasn't worked on any projects since 2012. In a lawsuit against CBS, Moran and three other cast members said that they had been denied the merchandising revenues they were entitled to. Moran sadly passed away in April 2017.

Dawn French

Do not be deceived by Dawn French's name. She is a British comedian who has received seven British Academy Television Award nominations. Alongside Jennifer Saunders, French co-wrote and starred in the sketch comedy series French and Saunders.

Donna Summer

The quintessential "bad girl" of her era, Donna Summer was one of seven children and was born LaDonna Adrian Gaines. After filling in for a vocalist at a nearby church when she was just eight years old, Summer started performing, and a star was born.

Since the show's conclusion, Sagal has worked on a variety of projects, lending her voice to the animated series Futurama and appearing in the family comedy 8 Simple Rules. Sagal played the part of Gemma Teller Morrow in The Sons of Anarchy from 2008 to 2014. Kirt Setter, Sagal's spouse, wrote the script and developed the program.

Goldie Hawn

A Hollywood legend, Goldie Hawn began her career on the comedy Good Morning, World. Hawn looked to make a living off of playing the sassy blonde persona, and audiences took to her.

Yasmine Bleeth

In the 1990s, the original Baywatch was somewhat of a craze, and everyone was smitten with the stunning Yasmine Bleeth. Bleeth worked briefly on the soap series One Life to Live before beginning Baywatch, but these were some of her most significant parts. 

Yasmine played a few minor TV parts in the late 1990s, but Bleeth battled drug addiction, entered rehab in the early 2000s, and hasn't been seen in public since 2003.

Kelly Le Brock's career began off far from slowly, much like the careers of several other actresses on this list. Le Brock made her acting debut alongside Gene Wilder in The Woman In Red.

Jennifer Beals

After her notorious performance in Flashdance, which ended up being the highest-grossing movie in North America that year, Jennifer Beals gained instant notoriety. Beals, who was still pursuing her degree at Yale when she accepted the part, took on the challenging role of Alex, a welder by day and an adult dancer by night.

Joanna Lumley

Joanna Lumley was only able to take on a narrow selection of jobs, specifically the most complex ones the industry had to offer, due to her British heritage and her distinct British accent. 

In 1979's The New Avengers, Lumley played Purdey in her breakout role. She has also had important appearances on Doctor Who and the television program Sapphire & Steel. Despite all of these roles, Lumley's most enduring performance may be in Absolutely Fabulous as the title character.

Ann Margret

Ann Margaret started her career in 1961 when she agreed to a seven-year deal with 20th Century Fox. Margret's debut major picture was Pocketful of Miracles, a remake of the 1933 film Lady for a Day, in which she co-starred with Bette Davis. 

Margret played the Bad Girl in the musical State Fair in 1962. Although she showed up for the Good Gir audition, the executives decided the other character would be a better fit for her because they felt she was too attractive for the role.

Lynda Carter

When the female superhero received her own TV program in the 1970s, Lynda Carter became famous for her portrayal of Wonder Woman. Carter was a pageant queen who won the title of Miss World in 1972 before becoming famous for her superhuman skills. 

Prior to the show's cancellation, it ran for four years, yet Carter is still most usually linked to the part. Carter withdrew from public view in the 1990s, although she revealed publicly in 2008 that she was receiving alcoholism treatment.

Mary Tyler Moore

When she portrayed Laurie Petrie, Dick Van Dyke's on-screen wife in the Dick Van Dyke Show, Mary Tyler Moore became a television legend before she had her own program. 

Before making a name for herself with a TV program of her own that followed Moore as a single woman working in a newsroom, she also acted in the movie Thoroughly Modern Millie. Mary Tyler Moore was a well-known actress who worked right up until the end of her life. Her demise occurred in January 2017.

Elizabeth Taylor

There is no denying that Elizabeth Taylor was a Hollywood legend; she may be better renowned for her eight marriages than for her playing career. 

Her most recognizable performances can be seen in films like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Her accomplishments, however, extended beyond the realm of film. Taylor was an AIDS awareness campaigner who received a Presidential Citizens Medal in recognition of his efforts. She tragically passed away in 2011.

Erika Eleniak

Erika Eleniak first gained notoriety in 1989 when she made an appearance in Playboy magazine. She wouldn't have to wait long until she excelled in her first TV role, Charles in Charge. 

The stunning model received an invitation to join the cast of the venerable television show Baywatch the same year. From 1989 until 1992, she portrayed Shauni McClain on stage. Nancy McKeon

Without a doubt, Nancy McKeon's most enduring performance was as the iconic Jo Polniaczek in the 1980s sitcom The Facts of Life. Her ability to cry on cue in a Hallmark ad caught the attention of the show's casting director, who decided to cast her in the part. McKeon was slated to play Working Girl once her tenure on the show ended, but Sandra Bullock won the role instead.

Mia Farrow

In the 1960s, Mia Farrow appeared in some of the most well-known films and television shows, such as Roman Polanski's creepy horror Rosemary's Baby and the soap opera Peyton Place.

Shirley MacLaine

With her 1959 picture Ask Any Girl and her 1960 feature The Apartment, Shirley MacLaine gained notoriety and was honored with two BAFTA Awards for Best Foreign Actress. 

MacLaine has a long list of accomplishments, including five Golden Globe Awards and the renowned Golden Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1998. MacLaine wed businessman Steve Parker in 1954 in what she would later refer to as an "open marriage." Their union endured until 1982. In 2011, MacLaine published her book I'm Over All That.

Julie Andrews

The most well-known performance of Julie Andrews is from the film Mary Poppins, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Andrews followed up her renowned portrayal as Mary Poppins in the next year's The Sound of Music, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress. 

On May 8, 2010, Andrews performed in London after a 21-year absence. Andrews has two marriages under her belt, and in 2017 she most recently debuted a preschool program on Netflix.

Susan Dey

Susan Dey began her career as a model before switching to acting in 1970 thanks to her breakthrough performance as Laurie Partridge on The Partridge Family. 

Till 1974, she remained a member of The Partridge Family. Dey's career as an actor would later come to be known as being shaped by her performance as Laurie Partridge. Dey stepped into film, collaborating with Charlton Heston on 1972's Skyjacked, although appearing largely on television. Dey was recognized with a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Grace Van Owen in L.A. Law.

Marisa Tomei

Marisa Tomei made her acting debut in 1992 thanks to her part in My Cousin Vinny. Tomei won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her work. 

Tomei has continued to be relevant, making appearances in a number of recent movies, including Anger Management from 2003, Wild Hogs from 2007, and Captain America: Civil War from 2016. Dawn Wells

Wells is well-known for his role as Mary Ann Summers on the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. She is the only cast member left, and she is currently 84. In 2018, a GoFundMe page arose requesting supporters to help Wells pay for medical and tax bills.

In the 1970 movie The Liberation of L.B. Jones, Lola Falana made her acting debut as Emma Jones. Falana began modeling for Playboy that same year and has since scored numerous TV jobs in programs like The Joey Bishop Show and The Hollywood Palace.

Fairuza Balk

In Disney's 1985 picture Return to Oz, when she made her theatrical debut as Dorothy Gale, Balk first appeared on our screens. After that, Fairuza was featured in the spooky horror movie The Craft, and viewers couldn't get enough of her. 

Balk decided to pursue art rather than pursue a career in acting. Songs served as the inspiration for Balk's mixed-media sculptures in 2011, some of which had their debuts in New York and Los Angeles.
