From the very beginning of his life, Angelo was incredibly active. He was a whirlwind of energy, never allowing his parents a moment of peace. If Beatrice and Pierre didn’t keep a close eye on him, his energy could literally turn the house upside down. 

By the time he was two, he was always on the move—never sitting still, unable to play quietly. He was climbing everywhere, trying to open cupboards, windows, and doors. His parents were constantly on edge because it seemed like every minute their baby could get into trouble.

The Horrible Incident That Changed Everything

And indeed, their fears were not unfounded... One day, when Angelo was just 4 years old, something terrible happened. The little boy, playing behind the house, managed to climb over the fence for the first time... and ran too close to the river. Pierre was in the house, and Beatrice had stepped out for just a minute to check the garden. She didn’t notice when her son ended up in the water.

The emotional shock was so intense that Beatrice began noticing gray hairs appearing in her hair. Pierre also struggled deeply with the event... It reached the point where he and Beatrice started arguing constantly due to the stress, and their marriage was on the brink of divorce—until one day, everything would change again...

But that time, it went way too far. At one point, in utter despair, Beatrice grabbed plates and began throwing them at her husband. And then… at the most dangerous moment, Angelo ran into the room...

With frightened eyes, six-year-old Angelo stood there, not understanding what was happening, as the plate, like in slow motion, flew just inches from his head and shattered into pieces. Beatrice froze.

Her heart stopped for a moment. She clasped her head in her hands and burst into tears. "God, what are we doing?" — these were her only words. And in Angelo's eyes, there was everything: fear, pain, and complete confusion.

At that moment, she sat frozen in shock and broke into tears. How did they get here? Angelo, the boy she had once pulled out of a river, was now ruining his life on his own. It seemed the storm they had always feared was just beginning…

When the Game Went Too Far
After that call from the police, Beatrice and Pierre were in shock. Their Angelo? Detained? They rushed around the house, trying to pull themselves together and figure out what to do next. 

When they arrived at the station, the officer told them everything had worked out: the teenagers had been let off with a warning. But, according to the officer, their son had been spotted with a group that could soon pull him into far more serious trouble.

The Incident at the Abandoned Warehouse
Angelo and his new friends were always looking for thrills. One day, someone suggested sneaking into an old abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. 

Rumor had it there were valuable items left behind by the owners. In Angelo's mind, it sounded like a typical teenage adventure: a bit of adrenaline with no real danger. But things went terribly wrong.

They went too far...
When the boys got inside, the warehouse wasn’t as empty as they had thought. A security guard suddenly stumbled upon them and immediately realized they were up to no good. The boys scattered in all directions but Angelo tripped over a broken box and fell. 

He heard the guard’s footsteps getting closer until one of his friends distracted the man by throwing a brick at him. The throw was dead-on. The guard collapsed onto the concrete floor and didn’t move...

Sirens in the Night
Angelo stood frozen, thunderstruck. He wanted to check if the man was okay but his friends practically shoved him toward the door. 

“Run!” they shouted. But before they could escape, the sound of sirens pierced the night. The guard had managed to press the panic button before losing consciousness...

Another Trial
The police arrived quickly. Seeing a stunned Angelo standing near the scene, they immediately detained him. His friends were long gone, leaving him alone to face the consequences.

When Beatrice and Pierre learned their son had been arrested, they rushed to the station. But what they heard there turned their world upside down...

Charged with Attempted Murder
Angelo was accused of throwing the brick at the guard, an act considered attempted murder. “This can’t be true! It’s a mistake!” Beatrice cried, barely holding back tears. 

Then, the woman broke into hysteria. Pierre tried to stay calm but he was trembling with rage. Could their son really be capable of such a thing?!

The police interrogations seemed never-ending. Angelo kept insisting it wasn’t him but the police were convinced of his guilt.

Angelo’s companion, the one implicated by their mutual friend’s testimony, was questioned. At first, he denied his involvement but after pressure, he confessed to everything.

Things were also improving at college. He got back to studying, tried not to fall behind, and even showed up early for a few classes. And then she appeared – Monica...

Angelo met Monica completely by accident, as often happens with those who are meant to play an important role in your life. It happened at college, after a lecture where he could barely keep his attention on the teacher's boring explanations.

Sitting outside during a break, he noticed a beautiful girl with dark hair. She looked simple but there was something in her eyes that distracted him from his thoughts.

Interest Started To Grow...
Later, Angelo bumped into her again during the next break.
"Are you new here?" he asked, trying not to give away that her gaze had already touched his soul.

"Yes, I just transferred. My name's Monica." That was the beginning. They started chatting during breaks, discussing everything from movies to favorite foods. She laughed at his jokes, even the ones he thought were bad, and he caught himself thinking that her laughter was the best sound he'd heard in a long time.

Angelo and Monica decided to meet at a small, cozy cafe, where everything began with a cup of hot chocolate. Their first evening was filled with simplicity but within it was a special kind of magic. 

These little moments became something bigger for Angelo than just a meeting – the beginning of something new. He fell deeply in love...

The Beginning of a Serious Relationship
Monica didn't rush things, and for the first time, Angelo felt that he could move forward without fear of being misunderstood. Gradually, their meetings became warmer and deeper. He realized he had found someone he could be himself with. 

Monica was the complete opposite of the people Angelo had hung out with before. She believed in him, supported him, praised him for every success, even the tiniest ones. With her, life became calm, almost perfect. But happiness is often deceiving...

When Monica first stepped into Angelo's house, Beatrice and Pierre looked at her with a hint of skepticism but after just a few minutes of conversation, they felt her sincerity. The dinner, which had begun with polite awkwardness, turned into a friendly chat full of laughter and stories.

The bike skidded, and he flew off the road, crashing headfirst into a brick wall. The arriving paramedics only pronounced him dead…The funeral took place two days later. On Friday, Angelo’s body was lifted from the grave and taken to the morgue. And on Saturday, something incredible happened.

The medical examiner, while inspecting the body, noticed a faint movement of the fingers. Then—a slight twitch of an eyelid. — “He’s alive!” It turned out that Angelo had been in a deep coma, and his vital signs were so faint they were mistaken for death. The slowed processes in his body had saved him. A few more hours, and it could have ended truly tragically.

A Second Chance
Over time, thanks to the doctors’ efforts, Angelo fully recovered and completely rethought his life. Later, Angelo founded a business producing coffins equipped with radio transmitters, emergency food supplies, books, and even escape hatches.
