Thanks to Monopoly, we have all learned as children the unfairness of playing board games with family for quite a few generations. So it stands to reason that everyone knows exactly how the Monopoly Man appears. Wrong!

Rich Uncle Pennybags, the real name of the Monopoly Man, is not wearing a monocle. People might have confused Mr. Monopoly with the dapper Mr. Peanut, who does wear a sophisticated monocle, which could account for the confusion. Both have undoubtedly evolved into status symbols.
