These 50 weird Guinness World Records we had no idea existed
12 Mar 2023The Guinness World Records book is one of the most popular books in the world. To practice, and to be included in it, you need to accomplish something really unusual and remarkable. The book records more than 47 thousand over 47,000 world records. Today, I will meet you with 15 bright shares with you and 15 of the most notable cases included in the book.
1. The world's biggest twins
Billy and Benny McCrary were the world's biggest twins. They were born on August 6th, 1953, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and weighed over 10 pounds (4.54 kg) each at birth. As they grew up, it was clear that the McCrary brothers were going to be much larger than the average person. The McCrary twins had a genetic condition called acromegaly, which causes excessive growth hormone production. This condition caused them to continue growing throughout their lives, and they eventually reached a height of over 7 feet (2.13 m) and a combined weight of over 1,300 pounds (ca. 590 kilograms).
Sadly, both Billy and Benny McCrary passed away at a relatively young age. Billy died in 1979 at the age of 26, while Benny passed away in 2001 at the age of 48. However, their legacy as the world's biggest twins lives on, and they continue to be remembered for their larger-than-life personalities and impressive accomplishments.

Following Rea's death, Blackie was taken in by a close friend, who had promised to care for her for the rest of her life. Devendra Suthar, an Indian, is the human being with the most fingers and toes.

23. Sword Swallowed, strongest item
A sword swallower, despite the name, apparently uses a Dewalt jackhammer among other tools to pass a sword through the mouth, down the esophagus, and into the stomach. 29. The most efficient method of eating a bowl of pasta
At the highest levels, competitive eaters can easily earn $500,000 a year from sponsorships and victories (food for thought, eh?). A fast eater who participates in competitions, Michelle Lesco, set a world record by finishing a portion of pasta (100 grams with sauce) in just 26.69 seconds.

35. The largest hula hoop ever spun by a female
When it comes to hula hoop spinning, it seems like you either have it or you don't, but just like anything else, sometimes all it takes is a lot of practice to become an expert hula hooper. But how much practice must Getti Kehayova have put in to spin a hula hoop with a circumference of 17 feet,.25 inches?
However, Kehayova did set a record by skillfully spinning the massive hoop at least three times despite donning a protective vest and nearly fracturing a few ribs in the process.

38. The Longest Kiss
PDA, especially when a couple is kissing for a very, very long time, is not for everyone, but we'll excuse it in the case of a world record attempt. Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat of Thailand currently holds the world record, which is absurdly long at 58 hours, 35 minutes, and 58 seconds. If you want to break it, you're going to need some serious stamina.

39. Most People in a Large Car
Anyone who has ever traveled by car with a large family or group of friends is aware of how uncomfortable it can become, especially if you're operating a small vehicle. The 41 people who fit into a Toyota Rav 4 at the Toyota Centre Krasnoyarsk Zapad (Russia) in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, are probably not claustrophobic; otherwise, they probably could not have achieved this weird but still impressive world record.
40. Who has the hairiest family
A relatively unusual skin disorder called congenital generalized hypertrichosis is characterized by mild and asymmetric hair growth in females and hair growth on 98 percent of male bodies (excluding palms and soles).

41. First person to break the sound barrier while in freefall
We believe that Felix Baumgartner, the first and only person to break the sound barrier while falling freely, is the best example of a brave person who holds a Guinness World Record. 42. Longest sustained voluntary breath
Do you remember the game you used to play in the pool with your friends? To break the previous record, everyone would take turns underwater holding their breath. The longest period of time spent holding one's breath is an amazing 24 minutes, 3.45 seconds, according to a Spaniard.

44. Enormous pizza
Anyone who disputes the fact that pizza is the most popular food in the world is insane. Pizza constantly tops lists of the most popular foods worldwide. Of course, some people are more enthusiastic about it than others, and it seems that Matteo Giannotte, Andrea Mannocchi, Marco Nardi, and Dovilio Nardi are the most enthusiastic. The group of five created a pizza with a total surface area of 1,261.65 m2 (13,580.28 ft2). The word "Ottavia" is of Roman origin and means "eighth son" on the pizza.

45. The tallest sandcastle
When spending time at the beach with family and friends, we frequently start creating sandcastles—or at least we try to.
We don't often, however, have a crew of 12 sculptors and 8 technicians working eight hours a day for three and a half weeks to build a 57 ft 11 in tall sandcastle, unlike the people at Skulptura Projects GmbH. 11,000 tonnes of freshly blended sand and water were needed, and it was completed in June 2019.

46. Longest tightrope walk in one minute
It can be frightening for onlookers to watch tightrope walks because they frequently take place at great heights and occasionally the performer opts not to wear a safety harness.
Oksana Seroshtan made the wise choice to attempt to break a world record while wearing heels by walking a tightrope at a safe height. She surpassed the previous record with a distance of 24 feet, 7.2 inches while wearing high heels.

47. Most human targets are hit by plungers in a minute
If there was a category for the oddest record, throwing plungers at people would win without a doubt. However, it might be a sign of Gerhard Doni's creativity to have thought of the record attempt.
2010 saw the German fling (and stick) 15 rubber-cup plungers to people in one minute, breaking his own record by one plunger.
